How To Make Potato Waffles

Ingredients needed

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Egg
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cheese
  • Butter
  • Seasoning (listed below)

Making the potato waffles recipe

  1. Turn the waffle iron on hot to allow it to heat while making the potato waffle batter.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes and the eggs with a hand mixer. Add in the melted butter, flour and the seasonings. The batter will be thick. Now, fold in the shredded cheese.
  3. Make sure the waffles iron is super hot, spray with oil then add in some of the waffle batter. Cook until golden brown and crispy.
  4. This recipe makes about 3-4 waffles depending on the size.
  5. Serve quickly while the waffle is crispy but be careful because it’ll be hot.

    These were amaing. I added diced chives to the mixture, which I felt was a great addition. My guests all loved the potato waffles. These are definitely going into regular rotaiton.
