How To Make 3 Ingredient Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients needed
- Whole oats
- Banana
- Chocolate chips
Quick tips for the best recipe
- The bananas are what make the recipe somewhat sweet, not the chocolate chips because they are semi-sweet. For a sweeter cookie, you’ll want to add granulated sugar, example of how much here. You can also add in honey or maple syrup as well.
- Do not use quick oats for this recipe. For an easy recipe using quick oats you can try out my no-bake cookies where they perform amazingly.

Making the 3 ingredient oatmeal cookies recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas then measure out to 3/4 cup. You can get away with a little more or less, bananas are really flexible.
- Mix the bananas with the oats then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Make each cookie with two cookie scoops then roll, shape and flatten the cookies like you see in the photos. They will not bake down or rise so you’ll have to shape them yourself. Add the finished cookies to a lined sheet pan.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes then pull them from the oven. Allow them to cool fully before trying to handle them. Enjoy!
