  • Ground beef
  • Cabbage
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded carrots
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Stir fry sauce (listed below)

Making the ground beef and cabbage stir fry quickly

  1. First, prep all the veggies then mix together the stir fry sauce and set it to the side.
  2. In a wok or large pan, brown the ground beef. Once finished remove the ground beef from the pan.
  3. Next, sauté the shredded cabbage and diced tomatoes. Allow the carrots to soften then add in the sliced cabbage. Add oil if the bottom of the pan starts to look dry.
  4. Now, cover the pan and allow the cabbage to wither on a medium heat. Go back and check to stir the cabbage and to make sure the bottom of the pan isn’t dry. When you notice this add a little oil.
  5. Then, when the cabbage is tender add the ground beef back into the pan.
  6. Pour in the stir fry sauce and mix everything together for about 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and taste for seasoning. You may need to add a little more soy sauce taste.

  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 15 ounce can of dicd tomatoes, drained & rinsed
  • 5 ounce shredded carrots

  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
