How To Make Roasted Okra
Ingredients needed
- Okra
- Olive oil or vegetable oil
- Spices (listed below)
Quick tip before starting
This recipe uses fresh okra. If you’d like to use frozen that is fine but the textures will be different. To add, there are two popular ways to slice okra. The long way you see in the photos and the short way that’s typically in fried okra. Either will work for the recipe.

Making the roast okra recipe

- Prep the okra by slicing off both a little of both ends, then slice it down the middle the long way. Add to a bowl and toss in oil. Next, toss with the spices.
