Ingredients

  • 16 ounce okra, sliced
  • 2-3 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450℉.
  • Prep the okra by slicing off both a little of both ends, then slice it down the middle the long way. Add to a bowl and toss in oil. Next, toss with the spices.
  • Oil the sheet pan, then lay out the okra. Place in the oven for 10 minutes. Now, remove and flip the okra and place back in for a remaining 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
