How To Make Peach Crumble
Ingredients needed
- Peaches
- All-purpose flour
- Light brown sugar
- Cinnamon
- Butter
- Salt
If you use frozen or canned peaches, read this
This recipe isn’t really made for those but you can use them. First, thaw the frozen peaches out if you plan to use them. Second, you’re going to have to use cornstarch to soak up all that excess water or juices from the peaches. Toss them in about 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and you’re good to go.
All the extra moisture will make the crust a bit softer but you’ll still get a crunch in the end.

Making the peach crumble recipe
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- Now, slice the peaches then toss them in cornstarch. Add them to the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Then, add in the pieces of sliced butter and cut the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter. You can also you a masher as well. Once the crumbles are formed and everything looks combined you’re good to go.
- Sprinkle the crumbles all across the top of the peaches, even the parts that may not have mixed as well. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. When finished the top with be golden.
- Lastly, allow it to cool once out of the oven. This is where the top gets crispy. After about 20 minutes, serve while it’s still warm and enjoy.

- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoon butter

- Preheat the oven to 375℉
