Tools you’ll need

  • Pastry cutter, potato masher or food processor: You will have to cut the cold butter into the flour and sugar to make the crumbly topping. This can be done with either of these but I find the pastry cutter or potato masher to be cleaner and produce an even result. The food processor is fast but you’ll need to use your hand to make sure everything is incorporated evenly.
