How To Make Strawberry Keto Donuts-Step By Step

  1. First, you want to blend your strawberries in a mixer. Use the eggs as moisture to help the blending be smoother.
  2. Next, set that aside and mix your dry ingredients of almond flour, coconut flour, granulated sweetener, salt and baking powder.
  3. Now, mix the rest of your wet ingredients in with your strawberries and eggs. This includes butter, sweetener and extract.
  4. In a donut pan, I highly recommend silicone spread the batter throughout all 6 molds.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
  6. Next, while donuts are baking create your glaze. You’ll want to use a tablespoon of almond milk or water and blend strawberries up roughly leaving some chunks.
  7. Combine into cream cheese and sweetener then mix well. Set aside.
  8. Lastly, after donuts have baked and cool, top off with glaze and enjoy.

  • Strawberry keto donuts won’t be as pink as they are in photos. Unless you add a small bit of pink food coloring they will be very pale looking.
  • Skip adding strawberries in glaze and simply have a delicious cream cheese icing.
  • As a bonus use sugar free white chocolate chip as a mix in. Also, if you have strawberry extract around sub that out for the vanilla extract for a deeper strawberry flavor.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 3 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon liquid stevia or liquid monk fruit
  • 3 ounces strawberries

Strawberry Glaze

  • 1 ounces strawberries
  • 2 tablespoon full fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon almond milk or water
  • 1/8 teaspoon liquid stevia or monk fruit

Instructions
 

  • Preheat ove to 350°F
  • Puree your strawberries with eggs in a blender. Don't over blend you can leave some chunks
  • Mix dry ingredients almond flour, coconut flour, granulated sweetener, baking powder, salt
  • Mix strawberry and egg mix with butter, extract and liquid sweetener
  • Combine dry and wet ingredients. Batter won't be as pink as photos unless you add a drop of food coloring
  • Spread in donut molds then place in oven for 20-25 minutes
  • You must allow these to cool first then serve

Strawberry Glaze

  • Puree strwaberries lightly in tablespoon of almond milk or water
  • Mix in the rest of the ingredients until well combined

  1. Silly question regarding the glaze. In your picture the glaze is white, but wouldn’t the addition of strawberry puree change the color to pink? Am I missing a step, as your recipe says to add the strawberries to the glaze.

  2. Not a silly question at all. In the photos the strawberries are not in the icing because at the time of shooting the photos I wanted a white cream cheese icing and felt that would pop more. I also listed not adding in the strawberries in the tips for something a little different to reflect the photos.
