How To Make Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Ingredients needed
- Chicken breast
- Italian dressing
- Ranch dressing
- Grated parmesan
- Italian breadcrumbs
- Butter
Quick tip before starting
You can use pre-shredded parmesan but the best results will come from shredding your own. If short on time or you want to make the recipe a breeze then pre-shredded is the way to go. But, there is a notable difference in the textures.

Making the parmesan crusted chicken breast
- First, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for at least one hour.
- When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400F. While preheating, mix together the toppings for the chicken.
- In a frying pan on medium-high heat, add a little oil and sear both sides of the chicken. Make the chicken golden in color on the outside but undercooked on the inside.
- Once seared, add the chicken to a sheet pan, smear on the parmesan topping then the breadcrumb mixture. Once all the chicken is ready, add to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the chicken once the top has browned. The chicken will be cooked all the way at this point.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes then serve. Be careful, the sauce will be hot.
