Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Parmesan crusted chicken is a great recipe for any day of the week. A creamy parmesan sauce on top of juicy chicken then finished with more parmesan and breadcrumbs.

Equipment

  • Sheet pan
  • frying pan

Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 pound chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing

Parmesan topping

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Breadcrumb topping

  • 3 tablespoon grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  • First, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for at least one hour.
  • When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400℉. While preheating, mix together the toppings for the chicken.
  • In a frying pan on medium-high heat, add a little oil and sear both sides of the chicken. Make the chicken golden in color on the outside but undercooked on the inside.
  • Once seared, add the chicken to a sheet pan, smear on the parmesan topping then the breadcrumb mixture. Once all the chicken is ready, add to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken once the top has browned. The chicken will be cooked all the way at this point.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes then serve. Be careful, the sauce will be hot.
