How To Make Parmesan Crusted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients needed for the recipe
- Brussel sprouts
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Garlic
- Cooking oil
- Salt & pepper
Quick tip before starting
When baking brussel sprouts I do not like to flip them. I allow them to bake until the cut side is golden and the tops are crispy. This is how you know they are done. I do suggest watching them because sometimes you can get more of the roasted flavor by flipping them to gift you some extra minutes in the oven without burning them.

Making the parmesan crusted brussel sprouts in the oven
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- To start, slice off the stems then cut the sprouts in half. Add them into a bowl then coat them with the oil. Make sure they are coated well to prevent pre-mature burning in the oven.
- Now, toss in the grated parmesan, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Mix everything together then spread out on an oiled sheet pan. Place the brussel sprouts cut side down.
- Bake for 20 minutes then check them for browning. If they aren’t too brown bake an extra 10 minutes for them to come out golden like the photos. Some ovens will cook faster and they’ll be ready at the 20 minute mark.
