  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Carrot
  • Potatoes
  • Beef broth
  • Tomato sauce
  • Beef bouillon cube
  • Chicken bouillon cube
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Italian seasoning

Making the crockpot hamburger soup recipe

  1. To start, you’ll need to cook the ground beef on the stove top first. Do not season the ground beef.
  2. Now, prepare all the veggies for the recipe.
  3. In the crockpot, add the cooked ground beef, chopped veggies then pour in the broth and tomato sauce. Crumble the bouillon cubes over the soup then add in the Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Stir everything together.
  4. Cook the soup on high for 4 hours. The potatoes and veggies will cook in that time frame.
  5. When finished give the soup a taste for salt before serving.

Storage & leftovers

This hamburger soup will freeze just fine. Note, the veggies and potatoes will have a slight different texture after you thaw it but the flavor will stay the same. You can keep this soup in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
