How To Make Apple Banana Bread
Ingredients needed
- Bananas (ripe)
- Apple (any apple of choice)
- All-purpose flour
- Butter
- Egg
- Apple pie spice (sub with cinnamon)
- Granulated sugar
- Baking soda
- Vanilla extract

Making the apple banana bread recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl, then whisk in the eggs, granulated sugar, butter and the vanilla. In another bowl, toss in the flour, baking soda, salt and the apple pie spice. Next, combine the dry and wet ingredients.
- Fold in the diced apples. Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan, place in the oven and bake for 1 hour. Times will vary but make sure the middle is done by testing with a toothpick. Place a toothpick in the center and make sure it comes out clean. I’ve seen banana breads ready in 50 minutes and others in 1 hour and 15 minutes. It will take as long as it takes.
- Once the apple banana bread is done, remove from oven and allow to cool fully. Once cooled, slice and enjoy.
