Dry rub chicken wings ready in 30 minutes with an air fryer giving you full flavor and crispy chicken. Spices and herbs this dry rub seasoning will make your chicken wings taste like never before and without any guilt at all!

A fellow Buffalo Wild Wings fan originally until I started making my own wings at home. A plus they started selling their sauces and dry rubs for a side note. I didn’t need them anymore. I was frying my own wings in beef tallow just like them.
That is, until I got an air fryer! That changed the game and it was much easier than hot oil popping on me or dropping a wing back in and it splashing. Garlic parmesan was love but a good dry rub chicken wings recipe was overdue.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How Long To Cook Chicken Wings In Air Fryer
I have done chicken wings in the air fryer several times and in a few different air fryers. Cook time is always the same. For crispy wings on the dry side, around 25 minutes flipping halfway is ideal. For juicy wings with a little crunch 18-20 minutes is great. Don’t stack the wings but you can crowd them side by side.
Do You Put Dry Rub On Wings Before Or After Cooking?
In this recipe add all of your dry rub seasoning before. Now, you could wait until they are done cooking to season as well but I suggest adding before just due to how I prepared them.

Notes
How to make baked wings:
Baking is a different process in order to get the skin super crispy. You want to really pat dry your wings in this scenario. Not to mention what you bake on is a factor as well. A pan with a rack is your best option. That way the baked chicken wings are suspended so that the fat drips down and the heat can crisp up each side of the chicken. Comparatively, in a sheet pan the tops will crisp. But the bottom will remain in the chicken fat taking away the crispiness from the opposite side. To add, when tossed into the sauce the juices will come with it making the skin softer. About 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. They aren’t thick like legs or thighs so as the inside will be done in a short amount of time. And the high temperature gets the skin nice and crispy in the process.Nutrition
