How To Make Crockpot Marry Me Chicken

Ingredients needed

  • Chicken breast
  • Heavy cream
  • Chicken broth
  • Sun dried tomatoes
  • All-purpose flour
  • Parmesan for garnish (optional)
  • Basil for garnish (optional
  • Seasonings (listed below)

Helpful tips before starting

  • The heavy cream does not need to be added until the very end. Dairy does not do well being heated for an extended amount of time.
  • Parmesan cheese should be a garnish and not added to the sauce. This is because with the low and slow method of the crockpot the heat does not reach a high enough temperature to melt the parmesan properly.
  • The searing process with the flour is important to the end result of the recipe. Do not worry about cooking the chicken through you only want to sear the outside with the flour until golden brown. The size of the breast will matter with how long the recipe takes. I do not recommend super thin chicken breast for this recipe.
