Making the pulled pork chili recipe

  1. In a large pot or dutch oven on medium heat add the leftover pulled pork. Then add in all the other ingredients as well.
  2. Now, give everything a really good mix and cover the pot. Allow the chili to simmer for 15-20 minutes on medium to low.
  3. This is an important step because if you do not allow the crushed tomatoes to cook they will have a metallic taste to them.
  4. Once the pulled pork chili has cooked for 20 minutes or so remove it from the heat. Season to taste wit salt and pepper then serve.

Can I freeze the leftovers?

Yes, this is a great recipe to freeze for later. Normally, there is a texture change when thawing but that won’t be the case with this chili recipe.

Can I use a crockpot or Instant Pot for this recipe?

Yes, the slow cooking process works perfectly for this. All the ingredients are already cooked, all you have to do is heat everything through properly.
