A homemade keto pizza sauce that’s made with no sugar making it low carb, paleo and keto friendly. Authentic with organic tomatoes, spices and herbs. Use fresh herbs or for an easy recipe simply whip out the dry herbs. This amazing sauce can be made in just 5 minutes! Perfect for my many keto pizza recipes.

The Best Keto Pizza Sauce

  • A low carb pizza sauce that can be made in 5 minutes
  • Not too thick and not too thin
  • No added sugar or artificial sweeteners

How To Make A Keto Pizza Sauce

  1. Due to this pizza sauce being so easy there are only a few steps.
  2. Start out by getting your frying pan to a medium/high heat. Then add an oil to the pan such as olive oil or coconut oil.
  3. Add in the tomato paste cook it out. See below for meaning.

  4. Pour in the tomato sauce.
  5. Begin adding in your spices and herbs. If your would like your herbs fresh then chop them up and toss them in now.
  6. Allow sauce to cook a little. Allowing it to cook a little longer will allow your flavors to marinate together more.

Helpful Recipe Tips

  • When you cook out your tomato paste what you’re doing is removing the potential metallic taste it can carry.
  • Tomato paste helps thicken the tomato sauce. But, cooking it a little longer can help more of the water evaporate as well. In turn will cause the sauce to be much thicker.

Equipment

  • frying pan or sauce pan

Ingredients
 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or oil of choice)
  • 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • In a sauce or frying pan on medium/high heat add oil then tomato paste
  • After mixing paste around the pan a little as in the video add in tomato sauce
  • Lower heat so it's not bubbling like crazy then add in all your spices and herbs
  • Cook for 2-5 minutes to allow flavors to marry together a little better then remove and serve how'd you like.
