How To Make French Onion Soup Rice

Ingredients needed

  • White rice
  • Butter
  • French onion soup (Campbell’s)
  • Beef broth
  • Gruyere

Baking the French onion soup rice in the oven

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. In a baking dish add the French onion soup and beef broth. Then, add the rice and give it a stir. Cover the dish with foil then place in oven for 25 minutes.
  3. After 25 minutes uncover the rice. Carefully add in the butter then bake for the remaining 25 minutes.
  4. Now, the rice will be cooked. Remove the dish then fluff the rice. Add the shredded cheese on top then place back in the oven on broil.
  5. Once the cheese is melted and bubbly remove the dish. Allow it to cool a bit before serving.

  • 1.25 cup white rice, dry
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • 10 ounce can of Campbell's French onion soup
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounce gruyere cheese, grated

  • Preheat oven to 425℉.
  • In a baking dish add the French onion soup and beef broth. Then, add the rice and give it a stir. Cover the dish with foil then place in oven for 25 minutes.
