How To Make French Onion Soup Rice
Ingredients needed
- White rice
- Butter
- French onion soup (Campbell’s)
- Beef broth
- Gruyere
Baking the French onion soup rice in the oven
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- In a baking dish add the French onion soup and beef broth. Then, add the rice and give it a stir. Cover the dish with foil then place in oven for 25 minutes.
- After 25 minutes uncover the rice. Carefully add in the butter then bake for the remaining 25 minutes.
- Now, the rice will be cooked. Remove the dish then fluff the rice. Add the shredded cheese on top then place back in the oven on broil.
- Once the cheese is melted and bubbly remove the dish. Allow it to cool a bit before serving.

- 1.25 cup white rice, dry
- 2 cup beef broth
- 10 ounce can of Campbell's French onion soup
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 8 ounce gruyere cheese, grated
