Making the recipe even easier…

Many times in the grocery store there are plain pork tenderloins and marinated ones. Some of these store marinades are delicious and the meat has already been sitting in the juices.

Also, there are a ton of over the counter marinades but if you’re a true DIY’er like myself I have you covered with a homemade version.

Making the pork tenderloin in the crockpot

  1. To start, mix together all the ingredients for the marinade. You can allow the meat to marinade for a few hours or toss it directly into the crockpot and allow everything to cook if you’re short on time.
  2. Now, after you mix the marinade, pour it into a zip-loc bag and add in the pork tenderloins. Massage the marinade into the meat and allow it to rest for a few hours or move to the next step.
  3. Pour all of the contents including the marinade into the crockpot. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 3 hours. Crockpot pork tenderloin doesn’t take very long to cook because of the way the cut is naturally.
  4. When done, allow the meat to rest before slicing and serving, enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • To start, mix together all the ingredients for the marinade. You can allow the meat to marinade for a few hours or toss it directly into the crockpot and allow everything to cook if you're short on time.
  • Now, after you mix the marinade, pour it into a zip-loc bag and add in the pork tenderloins. Massage the marinade into the meat and allow it to rest for a few hours or move to the next step.

  • When done, allow the meat to rest before slicing and serving, enjoy.
  • Bonus Tip: The way I get my pork tenderloin to look like the photos is I sear it after adding the marinade and before adding to the crockpot. Each pork tenderloin has a strip of fat and I pan sear it with a little oil on that side until it's golden and the sugars have caramelized a little, just the fatty side. Then, I finish it in the crockpot. This adds a layer of flavor like nothing else but this part can be skipped for convenience.
