Bacon wrapped salmon fresh out if the oven or air fryer. This healthy appetizer or finger food is great for a protein packed snack. Easy to make and quick to be devoured!
Sign me up for bacon wrapped anything. The flavor of salty, crispy bacon around any food group just is a major win. Recently, I took a shot at bacon wrapped meatballs in which the family oven. Knowing salmon was packed with healthy fats I figured I’d wrap these suckers up next. Now, in the photo you will see wild caught salmon. This was a personal preference but farm raised is better in flavor I have to admit. It’s slightly more fatty and that just works.
How To Make Bacon Wrapped Salmon
To start, in order to create the bites you’d need to cut up the salmon. Quarter sized bites will use slightly over 1/4 of a slice of bacon. But, before you wrap the salmon haas to be seasoned.
Don’t go too crazy because salt and pepper would be just fine with this recipe. Yet, I wanted to give a little more bang for your buck. Lemon fragranced coriander, along side garlic and a hint of tangy dry mustard does the trick.
Next, begin the bacon wrapping process. To make things easy I have a pair of scissors strictly for the kitchen and recipes like this. I wrapped the salmon fully then cut off the excess bacon. Then, securely kept the bacon in place with a toothpick.
Baking salmon side up for 20 minutes did the trick and these babies were ready in no time. Start popping then or add a little sweetness with ketchup or your favorite barbecue sauce.

I cooked this at 400 degrees (my air fryer max) for 22 minutes (without preheating) and my salmon and bacon both were way overcooked. I think if I could get the right cooking time this would be great.
Sorry that happened, ovens can be very funny. Some run cooler and some run hotter than others. Thank you so much for trying the recipe and leaving a review.
