Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do I need to soak the potatoes before air frying?
No, its not needed but you can soak them. I do not think soaking makes that much difference in the air fryer and it just adds extra time to a recipe that should be done in 30 minutes or less.
Why didn’t the potatoes cook? Why are they soggy?
One major issue with potatoes is not preheating the air fryer or overcrowding the potatoes. Crispiness comes from the ability to evaporate the water in the whatever is cooking. When you crowd things you do not allow the ability for the air to flow and dry out whatever is cooking resulting in sogginess and a longer cooking time.
