How To Make Turkey Feta Meatballs
Ingredients needed
- Ground turkey
- Feta cheese
- Breadcrumbs
- Buttermilk (optional)
- Parsley
- Mint
- Oregano
- Egg
- Seasonings (listed below)
Why add milk to meatballs?
The recipe uses whole buttermilk. From my experience adding in milk or buttermilk results in a more tender meatball or meatloaf. You can skip this step but the meat will have more of a bite to it, the meatballs will still be tasty.

Making the turkey feta meatballs recipe
- In a large bowl, combine the ingredients for the meatballs. Mix everything together to the point where everything is combined, avoid over-mixing.
- Cover the bowl then place the meatballs in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Remove the bowl then form the meatballs. About the size of a golfball is perfect.
- Now, you can sear one or two sides of them on the stove top in a hot pan with oil then transfer them to the oven to finish cooking. This will add an extra layer of flavor. Or, you can form the meatballs, place them on a sheet pan and bake them.
- Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. If you seared them this time will be a few minutes shorter, like 12-15 minutes.
- Lastly, remove the cooked meatballs from the oven then serve. They cool very quickly.
