This delightful treat is the perfect marriage of hearty pumpkin flavor and rich, melty chocolate chips, creating a symphony of taste that’s both comforting and indulgent.
Ingredients you’ll need
- Canned pumpkin
- Chocolate Chips
- All-purpose flour
- Granulated sugar
- Brown sugar
- Vegetable oil
- Egg
- Baking soda
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Vanilla extract

Making the pumpkin chocolate chip bread recipe
- Preheat the oven to 325F.
- To start, mix the canned pumpkin and the sugars together. Mix in the eggs, vegetable oil and the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, add in the flour, baking soda, pumpkin spice and salt. Combine the dry and wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a line loaf pan. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 1 hour up to 1.5 hours. Use a toothpick to test the center and make sure it comes out clean. For more experienced bakes, you can test the doneness in the middle by how the bread springs back when you touch it. The middle is the tricky part and what will take the longest to finish.
- Once finished baking, remove from the oven and allow to cool fully before slicing, enjoy.
