Equipment

  • Sheet pan

Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussel sprouts, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 tablespoon cooking oil (vegetable oil, olive oil, etc.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉.
  • To start, slice off the stems then cut the sprouts in half. Add them into a bowl then coat them with the oil. Make sure they are coated well to prevent pre-mature burning in the oven.
  • Now, toss in the grated parmesan, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Mix everything together then spread out on an oiled sheet pan. Place the brussel sprouts cut side down.
  • Bake for 20 minutes then check them for browning. If they aren't too brown bake an extra 10 minutes for them to come out golden like the photos. Some ovens will cook faster and they'll be ready at the 20 minute mark.
