What are the best potatoes for potato salad

For this dill potato salad any potatoes will work. However, each potato will give something a bit different to the texture and flavor. Russet potatoes will give a more starchy flavor similar to mashed potatoes. But Yukon and red potatoes will be a bit softer and much creamier because they have less starch.
