How To Make Chicken With Peppers And Onions

Ingredients needed

  • Chicken breast
  • Mixed bell peppers (3 peppers)
  • Onion
  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Cornstarch

Making & marinating the chicken with peppers and onions

  1. First, slice up the chicken breast into thin strips. Then mix the chicken with marinade provided and allow to sit while you prep the other ingredients.
  2. Slice up the bell peppers and onions now. Then, mix together the sauce and set to the side.
  3. Now, in a frying pan on medium-high heat add a little oil. Cook and sauté the chicken until fully cooked then remove from the pan. Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  4. After the chicken is removed, toss in the peppers and onions. Cook until the veggies are soft.
  5. Next, toss the cooked chicken back in the pour in the sauce and mix everything together as the sauce thickens. This will take less than 2 minutes to happen. Turn off the heat.
  6. Plate the chicken with peppers and onions and serve over a bed of rice.

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breast

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Peppers & onion

  • 3 medium bell peppers, sliced (can use any combination of colors)
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
