Recipe Highlights
- Baked and not fried, so they are healthier for you!
- Crunchy exterior using cornflakes to give that perfect crunch with every bite.
- Tossed in a homemade yet simple hot honey recipe for a sweet and spicy finish.
Ingredients needed
- Chicken tenders or sliced chicken breast
- Cornflakes
- Hot sauce
- Honey
- Seasonings (listed below)
Helpful tips
- Do not bother seasoning the cornflakes. There is nothing that allow the seasoning will simply fall off before baking.
- Crush the cornflakes up really well because big pieces will not stick properly. Another trick is to lay the tenders in the crushed cornflakes then press the cornflakes into the tenders. After, carefully lift it up and place directly on the baking pan.
Storing
This isn’t a recipe that will reheat well. After refrigerating you’ll lose the crunch of the cornflakes when you try to reheat. However, I have not tried reheating them in the air fryer. That may be the trick!

- While cooking, mix together the honey, hot sauce and chili flakes. Microwave the honey first so that it's easier to pour over the tenders.
- When the tenders are done remove from the oven and drizzle the sauce over the tenders. Allow to cook a bit before serving, enjoy.
