Delicious alfredo meatballs in a creamy, homemade alfredo sauce that easy to make and restaurant quality, I’ll show you how to do it!

If you’re looking for a delicious recipe to prepare for the family or date night pasta is always a great choice.
There aren’t many restaurants without pasta on the menu for this reason.
Alfredo meatballs are fantastic because the homemade meatballs pack a ton of flavor and they are swimming in a creamy alfredo sauce that’s timeless.
The sauce is super easy to make and extremely flavorful with cream and parmesan being the main ingredients. I’ll show you exactly how to make them below.
How To Make Alfredo Meatballs
Ingredients needed
- Ground beef
- Ground Italian sausage
- Breadcrumbs
- Egg
- Milk
- Heavy cream
- Block of parmesan cheese
- Noodles for pasta
- Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian seasoning)
Simple tips before starting the recipe
- For ease you can bake or pan fry these meatballs. Baking is less hands on and doesn’t involve oil splashing everywhere.
- You can swap the ground beef out for turkey or chicken with no changes. Also the Italian sausage adds a nice flavor and juiciness but you can double the other meat and skip the sausage.
- Be very careful with the heat when making the alfredo sauce. You do not want the heavy cream to boil, only simmer. If you overheat the cream it will curdle and this will destroy your sauce and you’ll have to start over. When it curdles the water will separate and you’ll know if it happens.

Making the alfredo meatballs recipe
- To start, make the meatballs first. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Beat the eggs before adding them into the mix to avoid over-mixing to make sure the eggs are mixed well. Allow the meat mix to sit for 10 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs time to become moist.
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Now on a sheet pan, shape the meatballs and lay them out about 1 inch apart. They will expand a little while baking. Place in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Due to the pork you will want to cook the meatballs all the way through.
- While the meatballs are baking prepare the pasta according to the directions on the package and prepare the alfredo sauce.
- For the alfredo sauce, in a sauce pan on medium heat add in heavy cream. Allow the heavy cream to slowly heat up until you start to see bubbles forming. Now, add in chopped parmesan cheese when you see the bubbles.
- Continue to stir the cream as it lightly simmers and starts to thicken. Once the alfredo sauce has thickened nicely turn off the heat. Now, you want to season with salt to taste and add the cooked pasta into the sauce.
- At this point the meatballs should be ready. Add the meatballs into the noodles and alfredo sauce and serve. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Note, do not add the pasta into the alfredo sauce before you’re ready to serve. As soon as you add the pasta it will begin to absorb the sauce.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How can I store this recipe for later?
It’s easily stored in the refrigerator but do not freeze this recipe. The alfredo meatballs will freeze terribly and separate when you thaw it.
Can I use frozen meatballs?
Yes, frozen meatballs with this alfredo sauce would be easy and save time. You can use store-bought alfredo sauce too but if you wanted to make it that processed I don’t think you’d be here.
