Air fryer biscuits are easy to make canned or frozen. There are few tricks but I’ll help you and you only need 15 max.

Making fluffy biscuits in the air fryer is my new favorite way to prepare them.
The air fryer takes less time to heat up and it’s a quicker cook. You’ll need about 12 minutes for canned and 15 minutes for frozen.
Pillsbury grands are perfect and the flakey version come out with buttery, flakey layers just like when oven baked.
Let me share with you the difference.
How To Make Air Fryer Biscuits
Ingredients needed
- Canned or frozen biscuits
- Air fryer
Important tip before starting
Each style of air fryer is different from brand to brand. If you know your air fryer runs hot you may want to lower the heat. There isn’t much harm in a low temp but a high temp could have the biscuits doughy and raw in the middle. Who wants that?

Making canned biscuits, any version of grands by Pillsbury
- First, preheat the air fryer to 330F.
- When the air fryer is up to temperature place the biscuits in the basket. Allow them room to rise so no crowding.
- Air fry for 7 minutes. Then, turn the biscuit over and brown the bottom for 4 minutes.
- After that the biscuits will be golden brown and soft on the inside.
Making frozen biscuits in the air fryer
- Preheat the air fryer to 330F.
- Now, remove the biscuits from the freezer and place in the preheated air fryer basket.
- Air fry the frozen biscuits for 10 minutes. Flip then air fry a remaining 5 minutes.
- The biscuits will be thawed, risen and fluffy on the inside. Serve.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can you cook a biscuit in the air fryer, what happens?
Yes, but you will need a lower heat than when you are baking them in the oven. The biscuit come out the exact same and no one will be able to tell a difference.
