Making the steak salad and the dressing
- First, season the steak with salt and pepper. For a more Mexican vibe you can also use the spice rub from my carne asada. Cook and sear the steak on a high heat to the desired doneness.
- Now, chop up the romaine lettuce, halve the cherry tomatoes, and slice the cucumbers.
- In a small bowl mix together the ingredients for the salad dressing.
- Next, in a large salad bowl, add all the ingredients minus the steak. Before adding the steak, slice the steak with the grain, then toss in with the other ingredients.
- Pour the dressing over the salad then toss everything. Lastly, add in the crumbled feta cheese and toss with the rest of the ingredients.
- Before serving I suggest you taste for salt and pepper.
