How To Make Parmesan Crusted Cod
Ingredients needed
- Cod filets
- Panko
- Grated parmesan
- Butter
- Seasonings & herbs (listed below)
Baking the parmesan crusted cod recipe
- First, thaw the fish. Then, when you’re ready to cook preheat the oven to 400F.
- In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the parmesan crust. Season the fish lightly with salt and pepper. Then, cover the top with oil or dijon mustard to help the crust stick.
- Sprinkle the parmesan crust across the top of the fish. You can easily cover 2-3 pieces of fish with this recipe.
- Now, place in the oven for 15-20 minutes. When the crust is golden the fish is ready. Fish always take 15-20 minutes to cook in the oven unless it’s super thick. Luckily this is the same amount of time it takes the crust to brown.
- Remove the parmesan crusted cod from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. The crust will harden more, now enjoy.
