How To Make Lemon Herb Chicken

Ingredients needed

  • Chicken breast
  • Lemons
  • Heavy cream
  • All-purpose flour
  • Seasonings (listed below)

Making the lemon herb chicken recipe

  1. First, season the chicken and make a plate of flour to drench the chicken. Prep everything before starting to cook because the recipe will move fast.
  2. In a frying pan on medium heat add a little oil. Once the oil is hot, dip the chicken in the seasoned flour and then place in the hot oil. Cook the chicken until golden on both sides.
  3. When the chicken is finished cooking add the teaspoon of seasoned flour to the pan. Then, slowly whisk in the lemon juice. After, slowly whisk in the heavy cream.
  4. After both are in the pan, season the the sauce and continue to whisk as it thickens. Once the sauce has thicken turn off the heat and add the chicken back in the pan and allow the crust of the chicken to absorb the flavors from the sauce. After 5 minutes, serve the chicken and enjoy.

  • season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Flour mix

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Cream sauce

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (1 or 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
