How To Make Ham And Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients needed

  • Sliced deli ham or leftover ham
  • Crescent roll dough sheets (make sure they are the sheets)
  • Swiss cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Brown mustard
  • Grated parmesan
  • Garlic herb butter

Tips for the recipe

  • There are two types of crescent rolls. One is the common rolls that you tear and roll out before baking. The second is what you are going to use in this recipe and that’s the entire sheet. If you grab the wrong one, carefully pinch the seams together.
  • Personally, I enjoyed the sauce for dipping because it got lost in the sandwich. But, in the directions I will advise to place it on the actual dough. I’ll leave that little tweak up to you.
  • A garlic herb butter is great for this recipe but regular butter will work just fine, minus the extra flavors. Simply, sprinkle some garlic powder and dried parsley in the place and it’ll be a decent substitute.

Making the ham and cheese crescent rolls recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. On a lined sheet pan, roll out one of the crescent roll sheets and bake for 7 minutes.
  3. While baking, mix together the sauce for the sandwiches. After the sheet has baked remove it from the oven, smear the sauce on the bottom and add the first layer of cheese. After, add the ham down by folding the slices like in the photo. Top with the last layer of cheese then place the final dough sheet on top.
  4. Brush the dough sheet with the garlic herb butter then place in the oven for 20 minutes. When the ham and cheese crescent rolls are golden, pull them from the oven and garnish with grated parmesan.
  5. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!
