How To Make Frozen Burrito Casserole
Ingredients needed
- Frozen burritos
- Taco sauce or enchilada sauce
- Mexican shredded cheese
- Salsa
- Tomato sauce
- Pico de Gallo or diced tomatoes

When it comes to the salsas and sauces, you can personally adjust the heat levels to you and your family likings. There are super hot choices and very mild choices for varying temperatures.
Where to find frozen burritos and which are best
The frozen burritos can be found in the freezer next along with the frozen dinners and meals. I have not seen them sold as a package but individually they are really cheap.
You’ll need about 8 for a 9×13 baking dish. How to arrange them is shown in the photo below.

Making the frozen burrito casserole
- First, preheat the oven to 375F then remove the frozen burritos from the package and arrange them in the baking dish.
- Next, in a bowl combine the sauce, salsa and tomato sauce together. Now, pour that right across the top of the frozen burritos.
- Then, place in preheated oven for 30 minutes. At the 30 minute mark remove the baking dish and top with cheese. Place the casserole back in and bake a remaining 25 minutes.
- Lastly, allow the frozen burrito casserole to cool a bit before serving.

- 15 ounce can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
