Enlightened ice cream keto collection is the brands answer to the keto diet. Each flavor in the collection is only 1g net carb per serving for each pint. Enlightened is typically a low calorie ice cream not a keto friendly one. That has change and now we have a store-bought keto ice cream that is delicious and creamy. I review each flavor and rank from best to worst!
Where to buy Enlightened ice cream keto collection?
You can find these flavors in local grocery stores now. They are fairly new so either the store may carry a few flavors or won’t carry any just yet. Sadly keto ice cream still isn’t proven to sell to some business owners but they are surely catching on. We want our ice cream!
It sells out as soon as it’s release so the brand will catch on quickly. Below are the typical stores you can find Enlightened in. If you are in a lower population are there’s a option to order online. The ice cream is shipped via dry ice and from someone who has purchased through mail the ice cream stays rock hard. My shipping box even sat outside in the summer weather for a few hours and still was rock solid.

Is Enlightened keto friendly?
This is debatable. Although each flavor is only 1g net carb each there are some undesirable ingredients. Two ingredients in particular are non-GMO soluble corn fiber and sugar. For what it’s worth there is only one flavor with sugar and it’s pretty minimal. But all flavors contain soluble corn fiber. Below I will list all nutrition facts via Enlightened ice creams website. In the video review below I actual test my glucose response to the ice cream.
Vanilla ice cream with chunks of peanut butter cookie dough and brownie dough, plus chocolate chips and a peanut butter swirl.
Hands down the best flavor yet! The peanut butter swirl is rich in flavor and they didn’t short us on the amount of cookie dough pieces. Loaded ice cream in every bite. Delish teamed up and knocked this one out of the park!
2. Butter Pecan
Butter pecan ice cream with roasted pecan pieces.
I chose this flavor off taste alone being I don’t like the ingredients. It’s very buttery and the pecans give it the true essence of what butter pecan should be.

3. Red Velvet
Red velvet ice cream swirled with cream cheese frosting
In loving red velvet I am very critical about this particular flavor. However, I have always though next to Ben and Jerry’s, Enlightened makes the best red velvet flavor. The cream cheese is very lacking this may be do to the need to keep the carbs low. A theme I saw in all their swirls in this collection. Yet, when you did get the cream cheese it was perfection.
Even without the cream cheese the red velvet ice cream has a great light chocolate flavor which it should have. There is a distinctive taste from this flavor and their chocolate as it should be.

4. Caramel Chocolate Double Dough
Caramel ice cream and chocolate ice cream made without added sugar, swirled together with chunks of gluten-free chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie bites.
5. Chocolate Peanut Butter
Chocolate ice cream with a creamy peanut butter swirl
None of these flavors are new. They are all a part of the overall Enlightened brands flavors. The chocolate here has a nice fudge chocolate flavor similar to a frosty. Due to the lack of fat it isn’t as good as Rebel Creamery yet still tasty. The swirl is there but it’s minimal. Just enough to taste. In conclusion, the overall flavor is great.

7. Peppermint Brownie

8. Mint Chocolate Chunk
Mint ice cream with more chocolate chunks
I have a new love for mint ice cream now. So I was excited to try this flavor. Sadly, it taste doesn’t have the same feel as the dairy-free flavor. That’s fine because the other was a cookies and cream flavor. This one does the job!
A delicious mint ice cream with hints of vanilla and dark chocolate chunks throughout.

9. Coffee & Cream
Coffee ice cream
I feel Enlightened ice cream’s coffee flavors always have the best ingredients in all their collections. And I love them all!
This one is no different. It’s simple and effective. A nice smooth coffee ice cream with a cappicino flavor.

10. Peanut Butter Fudge
Peanut butter ice cream with a chocolate fudge swirl
So, this flavor fell flat for me. Not that it was nasty but no where as good as the others. The peanut butter was a bit faint to me. Yes, you did get peanut butter ice cream just not a lot of it. Fudge swirl was a bit thin as mentioned above but this isn’t a flavor I’d purchase again.

11. Chocolate Glazed Donut
Glazed donut ice cream with a chocolate icing swirl
Honestly, this flavor was good. Actually better than the previous. Why is it last? It doesn’t taste like what it is suppose to.
It taste like birthday cake minus the sprinkles. I like birthday cake but what if I didn’t. I would be a bit upset by this. I am not being harsh on Enlightened here due to the fact I don’t even know how they’d pull this off anyway. Just a casualty of the ranking system that’s all.
