In a large pot, bring water to a boil then add in chopped sweet potatoes. If possible, measure out the weight of the sweet potatoes because that can change how much butter or cream you need for the recipe.
Once the sweet potatoes are soft, drain the water then add them to a large bowl.
Next, pour in the butter and heavy cream. Then, grab a hand mixer and beat the sweet potatoes with the butter and cream.
Add in the cinnamon then add salt to taste.
