Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 ribs celery, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • First, prep all the ingredients. Mince all of the veggies except for the onion, dicing will do.
  • Now in a pot, brown the ground turkey. Once browned remove from the pot. Season lightly with salt and pepper with each step.
  • Then, add in the diced onion with the minced celery, carrots and garlic. Cook all the ingredients until soft and fragrant. Then, add back in the cooked turkey. and the chopped parsley.
  • Next, pour in the cans of crushed tomato and lower the heat to a simmer.
  • Add in the balsamic vinegar and the seasonings.
  • Cover the lid and allow the turkey bolognese to simmer for a full hour on a low heat.
  • Once the time is up carefully taste for salt and serve over a plate of your favorite noodles.
