Taco bowl is a great way to get the taco flavors without the shell for a different experience with less carbs and all the flavors you love.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 packets taco seasoning
  • 1 cup white rice, dry
  • 15 ounce can of black beans
  • 15 ounce can of corn
  • 1/2 cup Mexican shredded cheese
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 avocado, diced
  • 1 lime, squeezed
  • cilantro to taste

Instructions
 

  • To start, you'll need to make the rice first. While the rice is cooking prep and make the other ingredients.
  • In a frying pan, brown the beef then follow the instructions on the taco seasoning packet. Once finihsed remove the beef from the pan.
  • Now, combine the beans, corn and cilantro and sauté in a pan. Lightly season with salt and pepper then drizzle with lime.
  • Assemble the taco bowl with all the cooked ingredients but top it off with freshly diced tomato, cheese and avocado.
  • You can serve as is or drizzle some sour cream or yogurt over the top for an added creamy flavor.
