Ingredients
 

  • 2.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg
  • 8 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.25-1.5 cup freeze dried strawberry bits

Instructions
 

  • Turn the waffles iron on high and allow it to heat while you prepare the waffles batter.
  • In a large bowl combine the eggs, slowly pour in the butter while whisking then add in the milk and vanilla extract. In another bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and the salt. Mix together the dry and wet ingredients. Lastly, fold in the bits of freeze dried strawberries.
  • Add the batter to the waffles iron and cook until golden and crispy. Remove from the waffle iron and serve immediately.
  • Top with fresh strawberries and your choice of syrup or even butter with a powdered sugar topping.
