Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • First, in a small bowl mix together the ingredients for the soy ginger sauce. Be sure to mince the garlic and ginger and place to the side in close reach.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper. In a frying pan on medium high heat add a little oil then sear and cook the salmon.
  • Cook the salmon until completely done. When the salmon is finished, lower the heat to medium and remove the salmon.
  • Now, add the minced ginger and garlic. Allow them to cook but stirring around the pan about 30 seconds then add in the sauce from earlier. It'll quickly bubble then thicken. Turn off the heat.
  • Next, add your salmon back in and baste with the sauce for a few seconds. Lastly, plate and serve.
