An easy to make omelette recipe using smoked salmon for a protein rich breakfast. Eggs and salmon pair well together in this healthy recipe that I am sure the delicious flavor is from a combination you never saw coming!
In a bowl beat eggs, heavy cream and salt and pepper together
In a frying pan on medium/low heat add butter. Once butter melts pour in beaten eggs
Scramble the eggs a little until they get thin. Stop scrambling if you are starting to see the bottom of the pan. With spatula push down edges to help release the omelette
Also swirl pan in order to move around the uncooked egg in order to help it cook. This is not the easiest to explain so I included a video in the recipe notes below.
Once omelette is looking solid later sliced smoked salmon, creme fraiche and capers down. Cook a little longer to heat up ingredients. Flip one side over the other then plate the omelette and serve.

Pinch of salt, be very careful with the salt in this recipe in the eggs. The other elements are very salty so adding too much in the eggs won't taste very good. Bring balance.
Pre-sliced smoked salmon, in this recipe the salmon was pre-cooked and slice. You are welcome to pan fry the salmon but this method produced the best flavor when testing.
