Equipment

  • Sheet pan

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
  • 2-3 tablespoon vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉
  • Now, for the bunch of broccolini, you'll need to trim about 1-2 inches from the stems. Next, slice the broccolini the long way where it's needed in order to cook pieces around the same size. You do not want a bunch of large and small pieces. The small pieces will burn before the large are finished cooking.
  • Next, coat the broccolini in oil very well. Do not leave a spot dry, this is important to prevent pre-mature burning. Once coated with oil, add salt and pepper to taste. Toss the pieces of garlic in the oil as well.
  • Lightly oil the sheet pan then arrange the broccolini in the sheet pan. Bring them close but do not stack them. Then, place the garlic on top of the broccolini.
  • Place in the preheated oven for 15 minutes but start checking at 12 minutes. You may be able to roast a little longer but keep a close eye to prevent burning.
  • Lastly, when the roasted broccolini is done serve.
