Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cup quick oats

Instructions

  • In a small pot on medium heat, add in the butter, evaporated milk, peanut butter and the cocoa. Do not stir it for a while until you see that the butter has melted it down then gently fold the ingredients to help melt evenly.
  • When everything is almost melted down, this is when you start to stir the recipe. This should take 5-10 minutes but never let it boil. Once you see everything is melted together, remove from the heat, then add in the vanilla extract and then the quick oats.
  • Fold in the quick oats. Next, take a cookie scoop and place the cookies onto parchment paper. You can leave them thick or flatten them by hand into the shape of a "normal" cookie like I did for the photos. To add, in the photos those are two cookie scoops combined.
  • Allow them to sit and cool completely, you'll get about 26-30 cookies from this recipe. Half if you double the size as I did.
