Ingredients

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 large lemon

Instructions

  • First, season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Next, to the side prep all the other ingredients for the recipe.
  • In a frying pan with a little oil on medium high heat add the salmon. Cook the salmon all the way through then remove from pan and lower the heat to medium.
  • Add in the minced garlic and cooked until golden. There should still be oil in the pan if not add about 1 tablespoon.
  • Now, toss in the flour and cook the flour a bit in the pan before adding in the water. Next add the heavy cream.
  • Toss in the dill and squeeze the lemon into the sauce. Add the salmon back in and begin basting the salmon as the sauce thickens. Once the sauce has thickened and simmered for about 1 minute you can remove it from the heat.
  • You'll need to add salt and pepper to taste for the cream sauce but after that serve and enjoy.
