Delicious keto sausage balls without almond flour or the use of eggs. Loaded with cheese just like you remember before the keto diet. A quick. healthy party snack or just a great appetizer for the family!

Equipment

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon unflavored collagen powder

Optional

  • 1 ounces full fat cream cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Toss all ingredients into a bowl and mix them
  • Using a cookie scoop make sausage balls and place them about an inch apart on a baking sheet
  • Bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven at minimum or 25-30 minutes for a crispier sausage ball

Notes

Helpful Recipe Tips

  • Add a little cream cheese to help with the sausage balls sticking together and for extra flavor.
  • If you don't have any collagen powder you can simply skip it or add an egg in. But, I think the collagen powder is far more beneficial and it doesn't have any flavor.
  • Baking times vary depending on how you want your keto sausage balls to turn out. For juicier sausage balls pull them out closer to 20 minutes. But, if you'd like your sausage balls to have a crispier bottom from the melted cheese leave them in longer.
