Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg
  • 8 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉.
  • Now, in a bowl whisk the eggs then add in the butter, then the milk and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Combine the dry and wet ingredients until just combined. Next, fold in the honey into the cornbread batter then pour into a baking dish. You can line the baking dish or grease it.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top is browned a toothpick comes out clean. The time will vary from oven to oven.
  • Lastly, allow the cornbread to cool at least 15-20 before serving, enjoy.
