First, mix together the honey, cajun seasoning and salt. Then, season the salmon with salt and pepper, preferably coarse salt and pepper.
Now, in a frying pan on medium high heat add a little oil then place the salmon in the pan. Cook the salmon all the way through. Flipping the salmon every 3 minutes or so for even cooking.
Then, when the salmon has a beautiful color lower the heat to medium and allow the pan to start cooling.
Next, add in the butter and once it's melted add in the honey mix from earlier as well. Now, begin to swirl the sauce around the pan while basting the salmon with the sauce. This will cool the pan down and also keep the sauce together.
Once the sauce has thickened turn off the heat. Plate the salmon and spoon some of the sauce across the tops.
Lastly, serve quickly because fish cools fast as well as the sauce. What will happen from the basting is the salmon will become sticky from the cooling honey, enjoy!
