In a large pot, cook the ground beef then remove the pot when finished.
Now, add in the diced onion. Cook the onion until fragrant and browning. Then, add back in the cooked ground beef with the diced tomatoes now as well.
With those ingredients add in the tomato paste. Mix the paste in the pot with the other ingredients cooking it a little.
Pour in the mixed veggies then pour in the broth and water. Bring the pot to a boil.
While the water is heating up crumbled in the beef bouillon cube, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and Italian seasoning.
Once the water has come to a boil, lower to a simmer. Then, add in the dry macaroni elbows. Mix everything for a few seconds so that the macaroni doesn’t stick to the bottom.
Cover the simmering pot for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the hamburger macaroni soup from the hot stove.
Lastly, taste for salt and pepper then serve.
