First in a skillet, brown the ground beef. Do not season the ground beef because the gravy will be seasoned by the bouillon cubes. You can adjust the salt later.
Add the diced onion in about halfway of the beef being completely cooked.
When the ground beef is almost done cover the beef with flour and lower heat to medium. Then mix the flour in with the ground beef and onion.
Combine the beef broth and milk first then pour them in together.
Next, crumble both bouillon cubes over the hamburger gravy. Add the remaining seasoning as well.
Allow the gravy to cook while you continue to stir until thickened. Once thickened remove from heat.
Serve the hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes.
