Ingredients

  • 5 pork chops
  • 10 ounce can of cream of mushroom
  • 10 ounce can of cream of chicken
  • 4 ounce mushrooms, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • To start, remove the pork chops from the package and pat them dry. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Optional, sear the pork chops on the stove top to add a layer of flavor on a medium high heat. Just sear them and they'll finish cooking in the slow cooker.
  • Prep the veggies.
  • Now, mix the cream of mushroom and chicken.
  • Fold the veggies and half the mix of the cream of mushroom and chicken together. Spread the rest across the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Lay the pork chops in the crockpot then place the covered veggies on top.
  • Turn on high for 4 hours or low for 6.
  • When finished, serve the smothered pork chops with rice or mashed potatoes.
