Preheat the oven to 350℉.
Next, empty the cans of cherry pie filling into the baking pan. Top the filling with the cake mix. Now, cut slices of butter and place them evenly across the top of the cake mix.
Place the baking pan into the oven and bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once cooled, serve with ice cream and enjoy!
